This year’s edition of the University of Antwerp‘s Spring Academy in Digital Humanities was organized to immediately follow the DH Benelux conference. This intensive three-day workshop (10-12 June 2015) on ‘Visualization in Digital Humanities‘ offered the perfect opportunity for the conference’s participants to learn how to visualize their data in interesting new ways. The workshop was taught by the developers of NodeBox, a data visualization tool created by the Experimental Media Research Group (EMRG), a cross-domain research group associated with the Sint Lucas School of Arts of the Karel de Grote-Hogeschool in Antwerp. During the workshop, participants learned how to capture, prepare, refine and visualize data and deepen their insight in the theory of data visualization.
